Imo government completes 60 MDG projects
The projects would be ready for commissioning by the end of the month.
The Governor, who announced this said the projects were under the 60/40 programme of the government aimed at improving health care services in the rural areas.
Okorocha spoke as part of resolution at the end of a meeting with the Millennium Development Goal Project, MDGS, coordinator in Imo State, Mrs. Nma Nzeribe.
He said the projects would be handed over to the various communities through the Community Government Council ,CGC, stressing that these would make communities active participants in the affairs that concern them.
He maintained that the present administration was determined to pursue all projects designed to improve the lives of the people, especially at the grassroots, and advised benefiting communities to guard the projects in their domain with care, in their overall interest, and report to government any deviation.
