Visafone crashes tariff to less than 1 kobo per second

Visafone has again crashed its tariffs for within-the-network calls to less than 1 kobo per second.The move was aimed at giving Nigerians the comfort to call loved ones with its newly introduced mega bumper package dubbed ‘Fantastic Visa Bundles’ without any worries of cost implication.

A statement signed by the Head, Corporate Communications, Mr. Joseph Ushigiale, stated that “On these new bundles, customers would make Visafone to Visafone calls at less than 1 kobo per second and 50k per minute.
This product offers three unique packages namely: the Weekly Bundle Package where customers would dial *450*610# to get 50 minutes of Visafone to Visafone calls (on-net calls) for N100 with a validity period of 5 days.“Another offer on the package is the ‘Monthly Bundle Package’

MD/CEO of Visafone, Mr. Sailesh Iyer, stated that “it is another of Visafone’s fantastic products. Fantastic Visa Bundles are a voice service that offers you discounted rates for on-net minute in packs for as low as 50k per minute within the network.
Fantastic Visa Bundles offers the widest range of on-net bundles to suit everyone’s needs and also offers huge savings on your voice on-net rates.”

According to him “This would give Nigerians the opportunity to keep in touch with loved ones at give-away tariffs. The Fantastic Visa Bundles are designed to give every customer extra value for voice usage while at the same time providing additional opportunity to talk more with family and loved ones.”

Iyer, who acknowledged that millions of customers are already enjoying the discounted call rates within the network since the launch of the scheme, stated that the Visafone offer is in appreciation of its customers’ loyalty.
