Stock Market watch: Indices gain 0.35% on Thursday
In the same vein, the market capitalisation of the listed entities appreciated by 0.35 percent or N40 billion to close at N11.432 trillion as against yesterday’s closing figure of N11.392 trillion.
At the end of Thursday’s transactions, investors traded 356.02 million shares valued at N3.53 billion in 5,312 deals.
International Breweries led the top five gainers chart with a price gain of N1.75k in its share price to close at N19.75k per share while Guaranty Trust bank was second with its share price appreciating by N1.10k to close at N24.89k per share.
Nigerian Breweries was third on the chart with a price gain of N0.99k in its share price to close at N161.99k per share.
Oando was fourth with an addition of N0.68k to its share price to close at N10.00 per share while Zenith bank was the last on the chart with a gain of N0.45k in its share price to close at N19.90k per share.
On the losers end, Cadbury was on top of the chart with a loss of N3.59k in its share price to close at N45.41k per share.
PZ was second with a price loss of N3.00 to close at N35.00 per share while Ashaka Cement was third shedding N1.01k in its share price to close at N19.99k per share.
Dangote Cement was fourth with its share price depreciating by N1.00 to close at N189.00 per share while Total Plc was last with a loss of N0.90k in its share price to close N157.00 per share.
The top trades by volume chart on Thursday was led by Transcorp with 77.20 million volume of shares worth N114.46 million while Diamond bank was second with 58.80 million shares valued at N361.49 million.
Zenith bank came third with 21.60 million shares valued at N427.59 million and Oando in fourth position with 20.69 million shares worth N205.14 million.
UBA was last on the chart with 20.67 million shares valued at N148.80 million.
