Final winners emerge in Ecobank promo

Final set of winners on Thursday emerged at the Ecobank ‘Win Big Promo’ with Green James Rose of King Jaja branch in Bonny, Rivers State, winning the grand prize – a Nissan sports utility vehicle.

Rose emerged among 1,519,340 people who qualified for the grand prize.

Also, Margaret Omisakin of Ile-Ife Branch won a Nissan Salon car – being the star prize for the fourth draw, combined with the grand draw event.

Head, Domestic Bank Products, Mr. Funwa Akinmade, addressing customers at the event in Lagos,  said Ecobank had kept faith with its customers by rewarding them monthly since October 2012 through the promo.

He said that the promo was aimed at encouraging people to be diligent in savings, a trait, which for him, would be handy on a rainy day.

Akinmade said, “It has been wonderful to hear the pleasure and happiness in customers’ voice as they are informed of their winnings. We encourage old and new customers to open or grow their accounts with Ecobank and be rewarded for it.”

Winners in other categories include Luqman Amolegbe and Okeke Sunday, both customers from Olojo and Alaba International Market branches, respectively. Each of them won a 2.5kva generator.

LCD television sets, and BlackBerry phones were also won at the event.

The event was witnessed by representatives of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission and Consumer Protection Council.

According to Mrs. Susie Onwuka of the CPC, Lagos office, the transparency of the draws attests to the fact that Ecobank is a customer centred-bank.

Ecobank had announced the Win Big Promo in September, last year, to reward loyal customers actively operating their Ecobank current and savings accounts.
