Over 3,000 Chinese Workers, Many Illegal Aliens, Employed by Dangote- ASBAN

The Association of Building Artisans of Nigeria (ASBAN) has released startling and grievous allegations against the elite Nigerian manufacturing industry and their insensitivity to the plight of the employment status of thousands of Nigerian graduates.

The allegations center on the preference of companies like Dangote Group who prefer utilizing Chinese workers, many of them allegedly with questionable immigration status to perform jobs Nigerian artisans could easily do or be trained to do.

In a statement issued by the National President of ASBAN, Price Jimmy Oshinubi, he alleges that Nigeria loses close to N 1 trillion compensating these foreign artisans annually whilst citizens of the country are left jobless and stuck in a vicious cycle of poverty.

He said, “For over four years, about 5,000 Chinese youths have been working at Papalanto Electrification Project. Also in Ogun State at Dangote Cement, about 3,000 Chinese are engaged as welders, carpenters and other jobs Nigerian artisans can do.
“While our leaders are busy importing foreigners as artisans, the British government through Growth and Employment in States Construction and Real Estate Sector (GEMS 2), a department of DfID has been retraining the artisans to empower their youths. Over 3 years after Obajana Cement has been producing, thousands of Chinese artisans are still working there.

“Though Nigeria is currently losing N900 billion annually as remuneration to foreign artisans, with fuel subsidy removal, the figure will in no doubt increase as more Chinese will move into the country for construction work. Cosmetic jobs such as selling recharge cards for our youths as against jobs that can guarantee a better future for the unemployed youths might soon pitched Nigerian youths against the Chinese.”

   I have supervised management of chiness workers in one of the world class projects  .

   They are strong and never tired.

   One point remains stead , Who are the Nigerian Leaderr working For ?.
   Zik ,Amadu bello and  Tafawa Belewa and others worked for unity and patrotism in Nigeria .They are well Remembered by ALL.

   What are the Likes of Obasanjo,IBB,Ciroma,Atiku, etc .
   How are the youths gonna Remember these guys !!!!!. ??????.

   I guess they dont care how you remember them, as long as they keep stealing and turning Nigeria to ther personal capitalist country.

   Chinese workers have ZERO safety Record apart from The NONE English which they speak and you cannot stop them from Speaking there mandrin.

   There are certain category of workforce which by normal standard should be for Nigerians ,

   THE GOVERNMENT LACKS EVERY CLUE TO HELP THE YOUTHS .

   GO TO MOBILE,CHEVRON,SHELL WEBSITE AND SEE HOW THEY EMPLOY MECHANICS ,LABOURERS ,CRANE OEPERATORS ,ETC FOR THIER CITIZENS IN THIER COUNTRY .

   THESE COMPANIES OPERATE FREELY HERE IN NIGERIA,make huge gains and , THEY CANNOT EMPLOY SUCH WORK FORCE IN NIGERIA,SO THEY MAKE THE MONEY HERE IN NIGERIA ,SEND THE MONEY TO THIER CITIZENS TO ENJOY .

   OUR NIGERIAN BROTHERS HAVING  BIG CERTIFICATE WITH ZERO UNDERSTANDING OF PRACTICAL APPROACH ON ISSUES AIDS THESE COMPANIES .

   LETS TALK A GOO DLOOK ON THE CHILDREN OF TH EBIG CERTIFICATE MEN , AFTER PHILIP CONSULTING HELPED THEM FLY YOUTH SFROM LAGOS STRAIGHT TO UK. NOW THEY ARE ALL USELESS AND BEGGING FOR MEAGER JOBS IN UK. UK , ON ITS OWN IS FIGHTING TO CREATE JOBS FOR THERE YOUTHS WHILE NIGERIA IS NOT.

   LET ME AGREE WITH IBB, SAY NIGERIAN IS A CAPITALIST COUNTRY ,ALTHOUGH IN PRINCIPLE I STILL DISAGREE WITH IBB ON EVERY ISSUE BASED ON HIS POOR PERFORMANCE AS OUR LEADER .

   MULTINATIONALS OPERATE AND GENERATE INCOMES FROM NIGERIA,MAKES HUGE PROFITS  , WHAT STOPS THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT FROM SELLING THERE YOUTHS TO THESE COMPANIES :TO SAY FOR EXAMPLE ,

   SHELL,AGIP ,SUBSIDIARIES HAVE SEVERAL CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS ALL OVER THE WORLD ,

   NIGERIA WITH A POPULATION OF 160MILLION HAS ENOUGH YOUTHS THAT COULD BE SENT TO THE COMPANIES CONSTRUCTION SITES OPERATING IN THERE COUNTRIES ALL OVER THE WORLD FOR JOBS AND WORK.

   MORE YOUTHS EMPLOYED WILL LEAD TO A BETTER TOMMORROW AND LESS PROBLEMS .

   Our leaders are unpatriotic.They don,t care about her citizens.People like us have been forced out of Nigeria to foreign countries to do menial jobs to survive. While the Chinese,Indians,Lebanese etc are working and leaving big in our country.People of the above mentioned countries don,t like us.They hate us and often don,t accept us in hotels even with our money.Majority of them won,t rent their roomshouses to us because of the colour of our skin.Yet they live freely and roam about freely in our country.We face different kinds of harassment on daily basis in these countries.The immigration officials in Nigeria only care about money.They don,t have national interest at their heart.One wonders how all these people gets and extends their work residential permits in Nigeria when it,s almost impossible to do so in these foreign countries.They will give you conditions which they know you will not be able to meet.
