Nigeria’s top entrepreneurs to headline Leadership Summit

The Anabel Group is set to hold the third edition of the Nigeria Leadership Summit at the Oriental Hotel today. The Nigeria leadership Summit is convened annually by Nicholas Okoye, CEO of Anabel Group, and the summit is now in its third year.

The aim of the summit is to provide solutions to Nigeria’s many pressing issues especially the ones that affect the younger generation of Nigeria’s population.

This year, the leadership summit will be a three-day event starting from December 11-13 and is themed: ‘Entrepreneurial Nation’ which places the entire solution for job creation at the door step of entrepreneurs.

The summit will look at the rise of entrepreneurs in Nigeria and examine what the factors are that can lead to the development and promotion of more entrepreneurs in Nigeria.

Many of the nation’s most respected and most successful entrepreneurs will be speaking at the summit and these include people like Chief Chuma Okafor,

Chairman Chicason Group, Chairman, Coscharis Group, Chief Cosmas Maduka, Dr. Ayoola Oba Otudeko, Chairman of the Honeywell Group, Abdulsamad Rabiu, Chairman of the BUA Group,  Segun Awolowo, Chief Executive Officer, Nigeria Export Promotion Council, former Minister for Works, Senator Sanusi Dagash, Ambassador Joe Keshi, former Chairman of UBA and Director General South-South Economic Council and a host of others.

The Anabel Group will also be unveiling two new platforms in line with its theme of the ‘entrepreneurial nation’ under its leadership summit.

These platforms are intended to spark the interest of the high profile executive and any one that considers themselves a Global Entrepreneur, be it man or woman.

The Master Class is targeted at the C‘Level executives.

Executives and entrepreneurs are expected to learn the depths of personal transformation and peak performance, as well as take a look into the global strategy as a route to expansion, and the dynamics of the billion dollar transaction.

International speakers expected at the class include the Franchise King Charlie Weeks of Weeks International USA.

At the Master Class, Okoye, the CEO of Anabel Group, will equally share with participants his serial entrepreneurial ventures especially how he and his team raised over one billion dollars in less than twelve months to buy nine companies from the federal government in what is termed Nigeria’s most significant fund raising and significant private sector financial transaction.

The second platform is aimed at the women entrepreneurs and is called the Island Tea Party For Women Entrepreneurs, which will take place on December 13, 2014.

This event is an exclusive event for the rising woman entrepreneur. The Women will be introduced to financial assistance, business skills, corporate structuring and new exciting opportunities.

Some of the special panelists at the Island Tea Party include the likes of Evelyn Oputu, the former CEO of the Bank of Industry, Mrs. Stella Okoli, CEO of Emzor Pharmaceuticals, Hon Abike Dabiri, Chairman of the Federal House of Representatives Committee on the Diaspora, UjuIfejika, CEO of Britannia U, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa and Mo Abudu, the CEO of Ebony Live Television among others.

At the second edition of the Nigeria Leadership Summit, the Anabel Group launched its Empower Nigeria initiative which is designed to stimulate job creation and entrepreneurship across the Nigerian Nation.

Empower Nigeria embarked on a nationwide road show which was undertaken during the year under the chairmanship of Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives and has since been responsible for the motivation and the setup of over ten thousand new micro and small businesses across Nigeria.

Recall that the Nigeria Leadership Summit and Empower Nigeria is chaired by Chief Emeka Anyaoku, former Commonwealth Secretary General.
