LCCI unveils ambassadors for trade development

Ahead of 2014 Lagos International Trade Fair coming up between November 7 and 16, the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has unveiled some Nigerian celebrities as goodwill Ambassadors as part of its novel development.
Chairman, Trade Promotion Board, Dr. Michael Olawale-Cole in a statement highlighted preparations for the fair, which he said, would hold at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.
The statement named the ambassadors to include Chief Executive officer, Main One, Ms. Funke Opeke, Managing Director KAYMU, Ms. Evangeline Wiles, General Manager Multichoice, Mr. Martin Mabutho, CEO Hyperlink Digital, Mr. Matthew Ohio, as well as popular musicians like Tuface Idibia, Ice Prince, Brymo and Vector.
Others are; On-air personalities Miss Toolz Oniru, Toke Makinwa and Mr. Olisa Aduba, film writer and actor Kunle Afolayan and Mr. L’erin Davis, a Venture Capitalist whose great strides in business had brought pride to Nigeria.
Olawale-Cole in his address, commended the ambassadors for their support to LCCI in its quest to ensure a better business environment for Lagos and Nigeria as a whole.
While commending corporate organisations that had extended their support for the hosting of this year’s trade fair, he assured all and sundry that the ambassadors and corporate organisations would team up with the chamber to promote Nigeria as the preferred investment destination.
On the trade fair, Olawale-Cole disclosed that every effort had been put in place to ensure a hitch-free and very successful fair.

Speaking on behalf of the ambassadors, Mr. Olisa Adibua expressed delight at being chosen to partner with LCCI and gave assurance that each of them would ensure that they justified the confidence reposed in them.
