AEPB spends N3.6bn on waste stations, trucks
The sum of over N3. 6 billion has been expended by the Federal Capital Territory Administration on the construction of three solid waste transfer stations.
The Acting Director of the Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB) Mrs. Aishat Adebowale, who disclosed this during the weekend, also revealed that the money covers the purchase of equipment for waste management in the capital city.
Adebowale was responding to questions during an interactive session with the Hon. Uche Ekwunife- headed House Committee on Environment at the National Assembly.
