IPMAN accuses black marketers of economic sabotage

Black market operators and hoarders of petroleum products have been warned by the eastern zone of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria [IPMAN] to desist from the nefarious acts in and outside depots or risk prosecution.

Chairman of IPMAN in the zone, Chief Adokiye Dede, handed down this warning in Calabar, Cross River State, shortly after the inauguration of the caretaker committee for the Calabar depot, led by Mr. Effiong Udoh and subsequent introduction of the committee to petroleum stakeholders in the zone.

Dede said activities of the touts and hoarders were economic sabotage, adding that everything must be done to keep them out of business for the good of the Nigerian economy.
