Nebo to inaugurate power cable plant

The Minister of Power, Prof. Chinedu Nebo, will on Saturday inaugurate a new power cable plant by Cutix Plc at Umuanuka, Otolo, Nnewi.

The Founder, Cutix Plc, Dr. Gilbert Uzodike, co-founder, Ambassador Odi Nwosu, and the Chairman, Mr. David Ifezulike, who announced the unveiling in a joint statement on Wednesday, said there would be a reception after the inauguration.

The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ifeanyi Uzodike, who is also the President, Cable Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, said the unveiling would mark a turning point for cable manufacturing and the fight against imported substandard cables in Nigeria.

According to him, the company manufactures cable and wire products of all sizes.

“We have a well equipped quality control laboratory that gives assurance of quality at all times,” he added.
