National Agricultural Insurance Corporation gets new Managing Director
The Federal Government, on Friday announced the appointment of Mr. Bode Opadokun as Managing Director of the National Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC).
This is contained in a statement issued by Mr Butrous Opembi, Head of Corporate Affairs of NAIC in Abuja.
It stated that Opadokun was until his appointment, the General Manager (Technical) Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Plc.
The new NAIC boss has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Delta State University. He was a graduate of Insurance from Lagos State Polytechnic, with 25 years in insurance practise.
The statement said the new MD assumed office at the NAIC headquarters in Abuja since Wednesday, where he promised members of staff more training.
Acknowledging that well equipped personnel were key to efficiency and optimal service delivery, Opadokun was quoted as saying his private sector pedigree would bring to bear the spirit of robust competition.
The statement added that the competition was geared towards making NAIC a key and frontline player in the insurance industry.
