NCAA bars Aero from operating to PH Airforce Base
For overbooking and leaving about 30 passengers who had met all the conditions to travel behind, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), has stopped Aero Contractors from operating to the Nigerian Air Force base (NAF), in Port Harcourt.
NCAA source disclosed that the authority decided to stop the airline’s operation to the base as punitive measure for maltreating passengers.
The airline in online message through its twitter account said that it has been instructed by NCAA to stop its flights to the NAF base till further notice.
The airline said that it had made arrangements to airlift the passengers who have already booked for the destination.
NCAA THISDAY learnt, was miffed by Aero’s consistent over booking which most often leaves passengers stranded.
