Nigeria, Spain trade volume rises to $9bn

The volume of trade between Nigeria and Spain for the year 2012 has been put at $9 billion with 95 percent of Spain’s import from Nigeria being oil and gas. Out of the $9 billion, Spain’s import to Nigeria is $7.5 million only.
The Spanish Ambassador to Nigeria and ECOWAS, Mr. Alvaro Castillo Aguilar presented the figures at a press briefing in Abuja weekend where he added that the trade volume is largely in favour of Nigeria.
