Mark warns MDAs against poor implementation of budgets

The President of the Senate, David Mark, has warned that the National Assembly will no longer tolerate the poor implementation of national budgets, even as he called on Nigerians to unite in the quest for a stronger country.

In his goodwill message to Muslims on Wednesday to commemorate the end of the Ramadan fast, Mark said agencies of government must do the needful in the implementation of budgets.

“Ministries, Departments and Agencies of the government must do the needful in the implementation of budgets because the National Assembly will no longer tolerate failed implementation,” he said

He also commended Muslims for their steadfastness and prayers, especially during the fasting period, for the sustenance of peace and unity in the country.

Mark called for a harmonious relationship and mutual coexistence between and among the different and ethnic groups in the country.

He said, “The Almighty God did not make mistake by putting different ethnics and religious groups together to form one united nation call Nigeria, It is, therefore, incumbent on all of us to work towards the peace and unity that will engendered progress in the country.
