Federal Government today, Thursday commissioned the newly Kaduna Refinery Access road, in Kaduna state.

Bashir Yuguda, Minister of State for Works, who performed the ceremony reiterated the present administration’s commitment towards provision and upgrading of critical road infrastructure to International standards across the country.

The Minister stated that provision of good roads is one of the priorities of Mr. President’s Transformation Agenda, as he gives much concern and attention to the provision of roads in Nigeria.

He added that Access Roads to all Nigerian Refineries are necessary in order to decongest the cities where the refineries are sited.

The minister also described the commissioned Kaduna Refinery Access Road as a demonstration of the Federal Government’s commitment towards decongesting such cities.

Yuguda noted that the Access Road is connected to the Eastern Kaduna Bye-pass aimed at decongesting the metropolis, as tankers loading fuel from the refinery have no business going through the city Centre.

He also calls on stakeholders to collaborate with the Ministry in achieving the good goals of the Federal Government in improving the living standards of Nigerians.
