Polish firm to establish foam plant in Kaduna

Foreign investment drive of the administration of Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero received a boost Wednesday, as Poland has agreed to build a $2 million foam making factory in Kaduna State.

Speaking with journalists after a meeting with the Governor and some other officials of the state government in Kaduna, the leader of the Polish delegation, Janusz Litwin said the investors are ready to establish their business in the state because of the investment opportunities created by the state government.

He explained that the Polish company-Organika Trade Holding, has already visited the proposed site for the industry and will soon commence work.

Litwin pointed out that “the Polish investors are happy to invest in Kaduna as a preferred investment heaven due to growing economic activities in the State, adding that, “the investors have confidence in Kaduna with the return of peace and stability.”

Besides, the Palestine Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr. Montaser Abuzeid also led a delegation on a courtesy visit to Yero yesterday to fine-tune discussions on areas of bi-lateral economic interests.

The Ambassador called for partnership between Kaduna State and the State of Palestine in the areas of economic and infrastructural development.

Abuzeid invited Yero to pay an official visit to Palestine to enable the two sides enter into agreement on ways to mutually benefit from investment opportunities on both sides.

Meanwhile, Yero has reiterated the readiness of the state government “to welcome any investor from all over the world that is ready to establish business in the state”.

According to him, the government will continue to provide the enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the state and will encourage investors to come to Kaduna in order to provide more jobs for the teaming unemployed youths.
