Zenith Declares N1.6 Dividend On N100 billion Profit, N307 billion Earnings
The management of Zenith Bank Plc has declared a dividend of N1.6 to the delight of its shareholders. This information was communicated in its audited financial results which were released yesterday.
According to the results, the bank declared gross earnings of N307 billion in 2013, up 36% from N 244 billion in 2011.
Profit before tax arrived at N102 billion, up 51% from the 67 billion it made in 2011.
Net income was N100 billion, up 106% from the N48.7 billion declard in 2011.
The bank’s loan book was N989 billion at the end of 2012, up 10.7% from N893 billion in the previous year.
