Nigerian Stock Exchange Watch: ASI (+0.44%) Closes In Green, YTD Performance Tops 12%
The All share index appreciated by 0.44% to close at 31,583.48.
The banking sector was upbeat as 10 participants closed in the green with only Wema (-0.90%) closing in the negative.
Cement manufacturers closed well in the green. Ashaka (+1.53%), CCNN (+4.95%), and Lafarge (+0.02%). On the flip side Dangote Cement lost 2%.
Transcorp (+6.73%), UAC (+4%) and PZ (+2.94%) were the toast of the conglomerates sector.
Julius Berger (+9.99%) was one of the stocks leading the market.
