Visa Introduces ‘Visa IntelliLink Spend Management’

There is good news for organisations that appreciate technology and would love to monitor and control their corporate spending patterns.

 

Visa Incorporated, a global payment services company has unveiled their latest technology, a web-based reporting and expense management solution designed to help organisations monitor and control corporate spending patterns. They call it ‘the Visa IntelliLink Spend Management.’

 

During a media briefing in Lagos, The Country Manager, Visa West Africa, Mr. Ade Ashaye said, Visa IntelliLink is a product that is offered by more than 35 financial institutions.

 

He said, Visa IntelliLink Spend Management can assist companies manage corporate spending and make out opportunities for savings, by supervising compliance to business spending policies.

 

According to Ashaye, Visa IntelliLink Spend Management can efficiently supervise, control, and manage expenses incurred by employees who are making payments for companies. He named, employee cardholders, procurement managers, card programme managers, auditors and finance managers as those who the integrated solution is targets.

 

Mr. David Levey, a Senior Staff of Visa stated that, the software allows companies to improve operational competencies to realize process cost savings. Adding that, the Visa IntelliLink Spend Management would profit employee cardholders who would be able to confirm their expenses and manage cost claims effortlessly.

 

Levey added that, Visa IntelliLink Spend Management combines with the suite of Visa B2B payment products and is offered by Visa and accessible from financial institutions around the world. It is completely handy on the web, which means that there is no extra hardware or software expense needed to execute the solution.

 

“With the ongoing changes in financial reporting and the current cash-less Lagos project, Nigerian companies are increasingly adopting global standards for reporting, accounting, and expense management. The addition of Visa IntelliLink Spend Management to our core commercial card payment offerings means that corporate enterprises and public sector institutions can benefit from flexible solutions that improve reporting and control.”

 

In addition, Nicholas Lee of Visa stated that, the Visa IntelliLink Spend Management integrates a variety of modules to facilitate the breakdown as well as summary of transactions to business spending guidelines while also making information within reach.

 

He added, “It also provides organisations with relevant information that supports cost reduction, improved use of funds and better management of business operations and cash flow processes.”
