Nigerian Stock Exchange Watch: ASI Dips Marginally as AIICO Gains 9.68%
The Nigerian Stock Exchange shed marginally today, dropping 0.02% to bring the year-to-date performance to 27.55%.
The All Share Index closed at 26,442.67 and the market capitalization of the entire bourse was N 8.4 trillion.
The Consumer Goods and insurance sub-indices were the only sectors to close in the green, advancing by 0.8% and 0.76% respectively.
The Banking sub-indice shed 0.8%, whilst the oil and gas shed 1.30%.
Sell side sentiment dominated the market today led by Access and Oando which shed 7% and 5% respectively.
