ETI Informs Investors on Dividend Payment Schedule
Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) has formally informed The Exchange that the closure date of register of the company will be Monday, July 2, 2012 while the dividend payment date will July 17, 2012.
This according to ETI is because the company releases information on dividend payment to the 3 markets at the same time and that for the BVRM (Cote d’ Ivoire market) you cannot make an announcement on dividend payment until the shareholders have approved it at an AGM, the company usually holds on and releases the information soon after the AGM.
This year’s AGM has been scheduled to hold on June 15, 2012 after which the dividend announcement will be made and Register will close.
