Transcorp Q1, 2012 Earnings Top N 500 Million
Transcorp, Nigeria’s most diversified conglomerate has released s Q1, 2012 results on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Revenue fell by 22% to N514 million, from N663 million over the corresponding period in 2011.
Net Finance Income appreciated sharply to N 239 million by 472% from a loss position of N 64 million in Q1, 2011.
Profit before tax arrived at N 610 million, up 53% from N 399 million over Q1, 2011.
Net Income came in at N 518 million, up 64% from N 316 million it made in the corresponding quarter of 2011.
