One time Presidential Aspirant and serving Senator from Kwara State, Bukola Saraki has finally reported to the Special Frauds Unit headquarters in Abuja to answer to the allegations of vast fraud he has been implicated in.

The Kwara State senator has been accused of conspiring with former MD of Intercontinental Bank, Lai Mohammed (appointed by Lamido Sanusi), to wipe off the several billion worth of bad loans companies affiliated to him had taken.

Saraki who is said to still be nurturing ambitions to someday rule Nigeria, is also under investigation as the vast fraud may have also led to the death of one of his cronies, Mr. Obahor.

Several hours before the senator reported to the Special Frauds HQ, several chartered busloads of hired supporters from Kwara State stormed the venue singing praise songs.

The contingency led by a Kwara PDP Party member, Alhaji Ishola Balogun, said Saraki had no case to answer, describing him as a transparent leader.

Balogun said, “We’re here on a solidarity visit to protest the declaration of our party leader wanted by the police. We don’t believe the newspaper reports that he was involved in fraud as he is a transparent man who has turned Kwara State from ordinary to extraordinary in terms of industrialisation. The allegations are false and baseless.”
