Jobberman goes Premium

By on February 8, 2012

Online job search site, Jobberman.com has launched a premium version of its services that allow job seekers to receive customized email/mobile alerts when there are job openings that suit their qualifications.

The service called Premium Alerts was introduced due to an observation by the operators of the site that most successful candidates for job opportunities apply within the first few hours of the job advert being made public.

According to a statement released by the firm, “With the premium alert service, job seekers can now customise their job search to suit their career specialisation, location, background and years of experience, and get up-to-the-minute job vacancies, giving them a more realistic and higher chance of getting their dream jobs.”

There are however other job sites that offer similar services free of charge. These may be more attractive to young job seekers as there is no guarantee that getting job openings information several hours or days before other applicants will ensure you secure a job before them.

According to Jobberman co-founder, Mr. Opeyemi Awoyemi, said “We have observed overtime that 50 per cent of job applicants are selected in the first few hours of a job being advertised. Thus, we are introducing this service to bring new employment opportunities faster to job seekers everyday and in their preferred job interests, added to the general emails we send twice a week.”

The premium service costs NGN 1,500 for three months and NGN 3,000 for a full year.
