Hyundai Heavy to Build $ 1 Billion Gas Platform Offshore
Hyundai Heavy Industries of South Korea has been awarded a multi-billion Naira contract to build an offshore gas platform.
The contract was awarded by a US oil major company whose name has not been disclosed due to the confidential nature of the transaction.
Earlier this year, Hyundai Heavy was reported by the Presidency to be building a multi-billion dollar shipyard in Bayelsa, however the CEO of Hyundai Heavy refuted those claims, stating his company was only building a small pipe manufacturing facility and not a shipyard.
