Earnings Watch: Bagco Releases Refreshing 1st quarter 2012 Results
Nigerian Bags Manufacturing Company Plc or Bagco Plc has announced its 1st quarter 2012 results on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Turnover was up 25% to N 3.5 Billion from N 2.8 Billion over the same period last year, as an indicator of strong demand for its products.
Profit Before Tax swelled by 47% to N 449 Million from n 303 Million over the same period.
Similarly Net Income was up 47% to close the quarter at N 305 million from N 206 Million over the same period in the preceding year.
The Company’s stock price is N 1.42, down 34% from year onset levels.
