Nigeria’s Participation At ECOWAS Fair Would Attract Orders For Export

The 6th ECOWAS trade fair in Lome will afford Nigeria the opportunity to showcase its economic potential which on the long run would also attract orders for export.

Mr David Adejuwon, the Acting Director of Trade Department in the Ministry of Trade and Investment, said the Minister, Dr Olusegun Aganga, would deliver a keynote address at the show.

According to him, the ministry is finalizing arrangements to ensure that Nigerian businessmen and women participate actively at the fair. The director said that activities, such as business/investment forum, exhibition, networking and cocktail party and cultural displays, would feature at the fair.

He also said that the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) would make a presentation on “Nigerian Investment Climate and Business Opportunities. “This will not only enhance Nigeria’s image but also attract orders for export,’’ the director said.
