Oceanic And Ecobank Will Merge Customers By 2012
Oceanic Bank would fully merge its customers with Ecobank by the first quarter of 2012. The merging of the two bank customers would allow customers to conduct teller transactions at over 230 locations of Ecobank Nigeria. When implemented, customers also would be allowed to use their Automated Teller Machine cards at Ecobank machines with no extra transaction charge.
This was contained in statement jointly signed by John Aboh, the Managing Director of Oceanic Bank, and Jibril Aku, the Managing Director, Ecobank Nigeria on Tuesday.
This also provides all banking services like credit facility, standing orders, collection arrangements and international trade to remain at the usual terms and conditions.
