Spectranet Nigeria launches Wireless Broadband on its 4G network
Broadband Penetration in Nigeria has received a boost with launch of the latest fourth generation Wireless Broadband Services by Spectranet Nigeria Limited on its 4G network.
Speaking at the official product launch of the network, the Chief Operating Officer for the company, Rajiv Rao said spectranet 4G is delivered on the most advanced 16 E Wimax technology which facilitates fast, reliable internet access services.
He said, “Compared to some other technologies which are fixed access, the spectranet wireless broadband service will provide a certain level of portability. This is being delivered on the retail friendly frequency better signal penetration and therefore more sable services indoor.”
According to him, as part of its contribution to broadband penetration in the country, the company plans to deploy internet access to hospitals and schools in its corporate social responsibility programme.
