BusinessNews Needs a Capital Markets Reporter

BusinessNews is seeking candidates for a capital markets reporter position focusing on Nigeria Stock Exchange, together with coverage of the Bond Market and Mutual funds.

A working knowledge of capital markets is advantageous. Candidates should have contacts among traders and fund managers in Nigeria and a sound knowledge of how markets interact.

We require a self-starter who can break news through creative sourcing, can identify and report on key trends in these markets and is an excellent team player.

Candidates should also be able to write quickly and concisely under tight deadline pressure. The successful candidate will have the ability to cut through the jargon and put stories in context for readers who aren’t market insiders.
