By on April 21, 2011

NAHCO Aviance Plc has declared  an expenditure of $7.5 million in the last two years on next-generation ground support equipment, with an additional $13 million to be invested in the coming months.

This is coupled with N17 billion for its warehouse project, a development which has received shareholders’applause.

This hint was dropped recently by the management of the company while stating the company’s first quarter update to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), in a release signed by its Head of Corporate Communications, Sanya Onayoade.

According to the release, other policy thrust made by the company included transformational programmes aimed at boosting manpower and equipment development.

The company also boasts of being one of the few companies that had embraced the spirit and letter of corporate governance, in addition to a diversification programme which it claimed was approved by shareholders at an extraordinary meeting which was held in Abuja in 2009.
