The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) has called for a meeting of stakeholders in the sale of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria (Transcorp) shares on the floor of the exchange last week Friday.

The date and venue of meeting were not disclosed.

A statement by the NSE said: “We wish to assure the investing public that the parties involved in the transaction have been issued letters to attend an all-parties meeting consistent with our desire to forge a ‘free market’ bound by rules and best practices.
