2013 Business Leader awards: Johnnie Walker partners CNBC

Johnnie Walker announces  its  partnership  with  CNBC  Africa,  for  the  All  Africa Business  Leader  Awards (AABLA)  presented  by  Johnnie  Walker  Blue  Label.  This  event  will  pay  homage  to  business people with vision and  spirit.

Launched  in  2011,  the  AABLA  expanded  regionally  on  the  African  continent  into  West,  East  and  Southern  Africa;  all  culminating  into  a  grand  finale  in  South  Africa.

The event will take place on Wednesday 28th of August at the Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria and will be attended by captains of industry and government leaders.

The award categories are Young Business Leader of the Year, Business Woman of the Year, Business Leader of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year and Lifetime Achievement of the Year.

The judging panel for AABLA West Africa will include; Seyi Bickersteth – National Senior Partner of KPMG Professional Services, Nigeria; Oscar N. Onyema -Chief Executive Officer, The Nigerian Stock Exchange and Bismark J. Rewane – Economist and Banker.
