World Bank team gives high marks to Fadama III project in Cross River

The World Bank Task Team in Uyanga, Cross River, has said that the Fadama III Project implementation in the state is far ahead of other states in Nigeria. The team Leader, Dr Abimbola Adubi, said this after the team’s visit to some project sites in Akampka Local Government Area of the state.

Adubi said the team had also visited other states to inspect Fadama III projects, adding that Cross River had gone ahead in terms of empowering rural farmers.

“I must confess to you, we have been to other states and we have seen that Cross River has progressed far ahead of others in helping the farmers,” he said and urged the state and local governments to pay their counterpart funding so that the project could make more meaningful impact on the lives of farmers.
