Nigeria Stock Exchange Watch: ASI (+0.2%) Gains as GTBank (+4.11%), Retail Stocks Advance
The Nigerian Stock Exchange ended in positive territory in today’s session as the All Share Index advanced 20 basis points.
GTBank (+4.11%) led the banking sub sector and by extension the majority of the market.
FBN Holding (-0.74%), and UBA (-2%) retreated, succumbing to selling pressure.
On the flip side, Zenith (+0.64%) and Union (+0.68%) saw marginal gains.
Over 230 million shares valued at N2.14 billion were traded.
The year-to-date performance of the market stands at 27.52%.
