Nigerian Stock Exchange: ASI (-0.16%) as Market Capitalization Slides to $53.92 billion

The Nigerian Stock Exchange slid by 16 basis points on the back of poor performances across several sectors. The market breadth was also below 3Q averages as 218 million shares valued at N1.54 billion exchanged hands.

Dangote Cement shed 11kobo or a marginal 0.09%. Access (+3.10%) and GTBank (+0.2%) were the only top-tier banks in the green in the day’s trading.

UBA (-1.50%), Zenith (-1.28%) and First Bank (-2.34%) shed weight in the session.

The market weekly performance was a -1.18%. The NSE settled at 26,559.55 points.
