Nigeria Stock Exchange Watch: Bulls Dominate Market as Diamond Bags 10% Gain

The bulls dominated the Nigerian Stock Exchange in today’s trading as the All Share Index booked a gain of 0.83%, bringing the years tally to 29.47%.

The banking sub-sector recorded 9 gainers vs 3 losers as the sub-index closed with an appreciation of +2.53%.
Diamond Bank (+10%) booked full points and seems headed for further gains in tomorrow’s session after releasing impressive 3Q results today.

Fidelity Bank (+9.8%), and First Bank (+6.43%) also saw above average price appreciation.

On the flip side, Union Bank (-7.12%), Zenith (-1.06%) and Stanbic (-0.14%) were the only losers across the sub-sector today.

The Consumer Goods index gained by 0.23%, while the Oil and Gas and Insurance sub-indices were up by 0.16% and by 0.06%
respectively.
