Baba Suwe Gets The Last Laugh, Set Free By NDLEA

By on November 4, 2011

A few hours ago, embattled Nigerian entertainer, Babatunde Omidina aka Baba Suwe was set free by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

The comedian had been in NDLEA custody for over three weeks, after he was apprehended enroute to France and alleged to have narcotic substances in his belly.

He was placed under watch by the NDLEA and his excreta monitored whilst his travails were the laughing stock and eventually outrage of an entire Nation where nothing apparently seems to work properly including Drug Scanning Machines.

Ikeja High court Justice, Yetunde Idowu ordered him released from custody on N 500,000 bail after the detention order obtained by the NDLEA expired.

Finally Baba Suwe is a free man, and may go about his usual business of making people laugh. Although it seems, he may now become the butt of their jokes.
